Guang-xing Chen is a M.D. and attending doctor. By focusing exclusively on joint replacement, Dr. Chen brings an uncommon level of expertise to patients seeking for the hip, shoulder and elbow surgery. He has performed nearly 1000 surgeries independently with satisfactory results and without any medical disputes. He has taken part in many projects funded by both the nation and Chongqing Municipality. More than 10 papers have been published, including some honor papers. He was awarded the third prize for “Micro-trauma Treatment for Severe Hip Diseases” by the Third Military University ( new technique and new profession) and the second prize for “ Technique and Practical Research in Micro-trauma Total Hip Arthroplasty” in 2011.

   Dr. Chen, graduated from the Third Military University with the degree of bachelor of Clinical Medicine in 1998, was the first in master entrance examination and received the master degree with a good graduation thesis in 2004. In 2006, he passed the exam of the doctor degree and got the degree in 2009. He completed many training programs from 2004 to 2010, and received his fellowship at O’Corner Hospital in the U.S. Over the past decade, he has attended numerous trainings about joint surgeries home and abroad and achieved many honors both in academic circle and clinical experience.
