Xiao-jun
Duan, a MD, associate professor and associate
chief physician specializes in the surgeries for wounds
and degeneration of the the knee joint, deformity and
other related diseases of foot and ankles, arthroplasty,
replacement, functional reconstruction and prophylaxis
rehabilitation. Dr. Duan was awarded the third-class
Merit Citation for promoting new clinical techniques
in the nationwide. He received position allowance as
an excellent young professional talent sponsored by
the hospital in 2008 and 2010 respectively. Dr. Duan
has written numerous research orthopedic related articles
and presented findings at orthopedic related conferences,
so he has got many achievements and honors in this field
Dr. Duan graduated with the bachelor
degree from West China Center of Medical Sciences, Sichuan
University in 1996 and earned the Master’s Degree of
Medicine in 2002 and Doctor’s Degree of Medicine in
2005 both from the Third Military Hospital University.

studying in Michigan University of the U.S. in 2009.
